    perimeter

  • circumference: the size of something as given by the distance around it
  • The continuous line forming the boundary of a closed geometric figure
  • The length of such a line
  • The outermost parts or boundary of an area or object
  • margin: the boundary line or the area immediately inside the boundary
  • a line enclosing a plane areas

    infrared

  • having or employing wavelengths longer than light but shorter than radio waves; lying outside the visible spectrum at its red end; “infrared radiation”; “infrared photography”
  • (of equipment or techniques) Using or concerned with this radiation
  • the infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum; electromagnetic wave frequencies below the visible range; “they could sense radiation in the infrared”
  • (of electromagnetic radiation) Having a wavelength just greater than that of the red end of the visible light spectrum but less than that of microwaves. Infrared radiation has a wavelength from about 800 nm to 1 mm, and is emitted particularly by heated objects
  • ‘Infrared (IR)’ light is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength between 0.7 and 300 micrometres, which equates to a frequency range between approximately 1 and 430 THz.

    alarm

  • A warning sound or device
  • An anxious awareness of danger
  • A warning of danger
  • fear resulting from the awareness of danger
  • dismay: fill with apprehension or alarm; cause to be unpleasantly surprised; “I was horrified at the thought of being late for my interview”; “The news of the executions horrified us”
  • a device that signals the occurrence of some undesirable event

Perimeter Security Bunker

Perimeter Security Bunker
20 Perimeter Security Bunkers surround Fort Darkstar in a circle 20 kilometres from the walls of Fort Darkstar. The bunkers are used as lookout points to make sure nobody enters the restricted. area between the start of the circle and the gates of Fort Darkstar. The bunker is usually maintained by 2 soldiers who man the guns and stop any vehicles or people from going past the the 20 metre-high wall topped with electrified barbed wire. The air-space in a 50-kilometre radius of Fort Darkstar is a strict no-fly zone to commercial aircraft. A special coded message must be sent via radio to the nearest bunker or else it will shot down by the H-32 Anti-Air cannon. The bunkers defences consist of: an E-64 machine gun, an E-53 Anti-Vehicle machine gun with a laser sight, a S-74 grenade launcher, a R-96 Anti-Vehicle Artillery Rifle and a D-70 Anti-Vehicle twin artillery cannon. The bunkers slit is protected by a magnetic field, bullets that come out of the bunker gain speed while bullets from enemy guns get deflected away from a soldiers face. If gas was used against the bunker, the weapons would by automatically pulled in and bullet-proof glass sandwiched between 2 sheets of diamond would seal the slit.
